Certification Courses – ROCKET, Inc. conducts certification courses in Positive Behavior Facilitation (PBF), Positive Behavior Facilitation for Leaders, Administrators and Managers (PBF-LAM), and Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI).
PBF equips participants with the tools needed to support children in the demonstration of positive behavior. The six tools of PBF comprise the 36-hour comprehensive & research-based curriculum. Using a variety of exercises and practice opportunities, participants learn how to encourage self-supportive behaviors in children.
PBF-LAM provides leaders, administrators and managers with the tools necessary to encourage positive adult behavior in the workplace and maximize employee job performance. This 36-hour comprehensive & research-based course equips those in leadership positions with the skills needed to address challenging adult behaviors. Participants engage in hands-on exercises, role plays and problem-solving scenarios using the six tools of PBF as the foundation for creating productive workplace environments.
LSCI provides helping adults with specific competencies to effectively intervene with youth in crisis. This 30-hour course teaches how to recognize common self-defeating behavioral patterns of youth in crisis and offers specific strategies for examining and addressing these patterns. LSCI equips adults with the tools necessary to address most challenging behaviors.
Personal and Professional Life Coaching (PPLC) – ROCKET, Inc. provides the on-going support, guidance and facilitation that creates desired results. PPLC supports others with the development and realization of a vision. Some of the processes introduced in PPLC include engaging the client in self-reflection, self-management, and behavioral/emotional processing. The goals of PPLC include:
- identifying desired outcomes for the client’s personal/professional life and activities
- examining personal beliefs and attitudes that can support or minimize the realization of desired outcomes
- recognizing & committing to the action steps that can result in meeting identified goals
- assessing the client’s behavioral performance based on results
- learning & practicing the skill of re-negotiation in ways that reflect personal commitment & integrity
On-Going Consultation – ROCKET, Inc. supports programs, organizations and groups by offering on-going consultation in a variety of areas. This format is for those who are committed to continuous and structured activity in ways that allow for maximal growth, development, operations, assessment, and reform.
